The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is conducting direct recruitment for the posts of Superintendent (Group B) and Junior Assistant (Group C) through an all-India competitive examination. The recruitment includes written tests, skill tests, and document verification.

Posts and Vacancies:
- Superintendent (Group B): 142 vacancies
- Junior Assistant (Group C): 70 vacancies
Eligibility Criteria:
- Superintendent: Bachelor’s degree with computer knowledge and typing skills.
- Junior Assistant: 12th pass with typing proficiency (35 wpm in English or 30 wpm in Hindi).
- Age Limits:
- Superintendent: Max 30 years
- Junior Assistant: Max 27 years
- Age relaxations apply as per government norms.
Selection Process:
- Two-tier examination for Superintendent: MCQ-based screening (Tier 1) followed by descriptive and objective tests (Tier 2), and skill test.
- MCQ-based test and skill test for Junior Assistant.
Application Fee:
- ₹800 for General/EWS/OBC candidates.
- Fee exempted for SC/ST/PwBD/Women/Departmental candidates.
Reservation:
- As per GoI rules, with provisions for SC/ST/OBC (NCL), EWS, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen.
Exam Pattern:
- Questions on General Knowledge, Reasoning, Numerical Ability, Hindi/English, and Computer Proficiency.
- Skill tests include typing and computer tasks for specific posts.
